• Uses Satellites for Live Updates... NOT your cell... and updates are good for as long as you own it.... at least in my experiences with TOMTOM

• Hello, The 1515TM does not use the AT&T 2G network. Traffic lifetime traffic updates are provided through an RDS-TMC integrated power cord
