This GPS replaced one that was messed up when stolen for a few days. Very easy to operate, Lifetime Maps, peer-to-peer(?) updates once TomTom approves uploads. Got it 3 weeks b4 heading to Toronto, ON, CA from Lou., KY, USA. It helped! Kept my data down on my phone. Comes with traffic fob on acc adapter. Has a USB adapter for plugging into laptop/PC. The suction cup works fine on a clean windshield. (Don't see need for the included metal disc with adhesive to permanently mount on dash, since suction cup works great.) No slot for SD. Has enough memory for maps. Easy updates. Has Lane warning for upcoming junctions, split screen. Recalculates VERY quickly. Great price! Bought it on sale. Happy! Recommend it!

The TOM-TOM GPS unit is very easy to use and I find it to be very accurate. I am very pleased with the way it works and the graphics are very easy to read. In my opinion it is a very good buy for the money.

Works well and the split screen is a bonus feature, however, the ON/OFF power situation is a little weird. If you turn the unit off before you shut the car off (and the power to the cigarette lighter shuts off when the ignition is turned off) the unit comes back on by itself when you restart the car, even if you don't touch the GPS unit.

It is perfect for average commuter. Good enough graphic and directions. I like it tells you few steps ahead. Easy to operate and has a good mount.

Easy to use with a simple user interface. Directions are clear and easy to follow. The best feature is the traffic monitor. I like knowing where the jams are and how to get around them. Saves me lots of time and keeps the stress level low.

My new Tom Tom has been great. It was easy to use and easy to update. I had no problem using it the very first time and I loved the fact that it didn't cost a fortune. As a matter of fact my son need to find his way around Washington DC and he had no problem at all when he used this. All the way a round it was a great buy!

Bought this for mother in law and she still manages to get lost going home because she wouldn't listen to it. Price wrang up higher it the store so that has to be adjusted. Easy to program

This is a good GPS for the price range. The screen is large and directions easy to follow. I really like the live traffic updates. My only complaint is that it loses signal too easily. It usually is able to pick it back up rather quickly, though. Minor annoyance.

This device has everything you need in a gps, with traffic, and map lifetime updates, it's worth the price. Easy to use, nice sized screen, all around a great product.

The "in car" GPS unit for my car was $3600.00. No way was I paying that. I have used a Tom Tom before but it became lost when I traded my last car. I needed something new. This one works pretty well. It warns you that you are going over the speed limit. It gives pretty good directions. My one concern is the advice you get when there is heavy traffic along your normal route. I was planning on going south of Chicago during the heaviest traffic time of the day-rush hours. (that isn't a typo-it is hours) The alternative route proposed taking me over 100 miles out of the way. The time savings- - 5 minutes. Nope! I forged on through the rush hours traffic and arrived with the normal mileage on my car. When the suggestion is crazy, just ignore it and the normal routing will apply.

Affordable, suction cup not reliable, power cord is hard to unplug from the GPS. There's a tendency that the arm of the suction cup might break.

Makes finding any location easy, good GPS. GOOD SCREEN RES.

I love Tom Tom products. This is our second one and I love it because you can also use it while walking. Great feature!

This is my second Tom Tom unit. The previous model worked well, but required periodic subscribed map updates. After having this unit for several years, I decided to purchase this unit, since it's cost was not much more than the 1 year map subscription price. I have been very pleased with it's performance and the ease at setting up destination points. The maps were easy to see and the traffic information was very useful and accurate. My only reservation is the traffic module (required to receive traffic info), which is built into the car power adaptor's cord. I previously have had failures of the previous unit's power adaptor cable plug, thus I'm wary of the possible failure of the plug with this portion of the unit. This set up was not described in any of the reviews I had previously read, nor on the box. I'm keeping my fingers crossed regarding this. All else about this unit is great!!

Ar first was kind unsure if I want it to buy TOM TOM VIA 1515 TM, since I was done more research in other Tom Tom product, but when I got to best buy they didn't have the one model I had researched,so I went to plan (B) I did little research on this one and honestly I love it this product is amazing,all the features oversee my expectations very accurate on ETAs screen really bright and legible, in MY opinion best GPS product in the market .... just love it ...... Price is good, affordable definitely will recommend this GPS.

The free traffic and map updates for life at a price below $135 are what sold me on this GPS unit and I am well pleased with both. Though Garmin does better Tom Tom in some areas traffic is not one of them. If not for that it would be a mater of simple preference. However, living in the Washington DC area makes quick accurate traffic and alternative routes nearly essential. This unit would get 5 stars but some of the routine Tom Tom glitches still occur, such as when it gets its right and left confused on spoken navigation. Honestly it probably deserves 5 stars for what it offers for it's price point but I find errors that continue through multiple generations very annoying.

Large screen is easy for driver and passenger to see. The interface is intuitive and straight forward. I particularly like how the device shows you how to line up for exits.

The Tom Tom GPS is very friendly user, nice clear screen and maps. Very audible directions. Color of screen changes at night. Same advantages as other similar and more expensive products. Good product, easy to use. Good deal and great value for the price.

Like all TOM TOMs that I have owned prior to this one. I am always impressed with the software. This GPS has newer touch screen technology that allows for gentle touching versus pushing on the screen. I also enjoy the new split screen for exiting. The older TOM TOMs would show only the lanes until you passed or exited. This newer version allows you to still see the map while directing you where to go. This makes for less confusion in unfamiliar areas travelled. Overall, I am very satisfied with TOM TOM. It never gets me lost or takes me out of the way.
