The manual indicates it has an option for Auto-Bake but I haven't used it for that to know how well it works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.THIS CONVECTION OVEN IS FOR BAKING, ROASTING AND ALL THE NORMAL THINGS YOU DO WITH AN OVEN, EXCEPT SMALLER. IT COOKS WITH HOT AIR RATHER THAN DIRECT RADIANT HEAT FROM ELECTRIC HEATING ELEMENTS [a gas oven is another deal altogether] THIS UNIT WORKS BETTER THAN MY OLD GE KITCHEN RANGE.

As a convection oven, this unit (like all other countertop models) definitely lacks the horsepower of a full size appliance - both the heating element and the circulating fan are too small (note that the MAXIMUM temperature that can be achieved is 425 degrees). Also, though the heating element is on top, there is no real broiler function, though w the included tall rack it does ok. Having said all that, I LOVE using this as a countertop-level oven! So nice not to have to bend over face-first into a hot floor oven. And while the convection feature can't compete with the speed and super browning capabilities of a full-sized unit, I find that this countertop sized oven cooks things about as fast as a conventional oven, which is pretty impressive. If you look closley at the dimensions (and you SHOULD to make sure you have room and clearance), you'll see it's quite generously sized and also comes w a two-tiered rack, so you can put a lot of stuff in there. So this has replaced my floor oven for just about everything except for huge stuff like turkey or when I need to get things really hot, like for homemade pizza.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a convection oven and a microwave. I just got one and I'm baking french fries right now.
