Does the microwave function use an inverter? null

The previous responder that stated the oven uses a magnetron has no idea what an inverter is. No, this oven unfortunately does not use an inverter. It controls the magnetron’s relative power by cycling the full output of the magnetron on and off every few seconds unlike an inverter which controls the ‘duty cycle’ of the power many times per second.

Microwaves use a magnetron to create the microwaves. All magnetrons are made by Sharp Electronics. All manufactures use a Sharp magnetron.
