“Why is it called "Chromebook 2"? Are there any particular specs?”

• This is the "2nd" version of Toshiba's 13 inch Chromebook. It features a much better screen than the gen 1 version.

• It is called the "Chromebook 2" because Toshiba already released a model that was just called the "Toshiba Chromebook". This is the 2nd generation of Toshiba's chromebooks.

• I can't answer definitevely, but I can only guess that it has a larger screen. The Chromebooks that I saw when starting my search were 11" screens; this one has a 13.3". This screen is by far the best Chromebook that I have seen so far.
