• You cannot "install" Office on the Chromebooks (any of them), but you can use the browser version of office 365. Just not the native program. I know a co-worker that use Office 365 on a Chromebook and says it works flawlessly. I personally have not tried.

• No you cannot. But you can use Google Docs (Cloud Based). It is as good as word, maybe a little less features.

• You can't run the native version, that is, the one you load on a Windows laptop, but you can run the online Web version of Word, part of the Microsoft Office Online suite of software. See www.office.com

• No, you cannot use MS Word. There is an online, basic version of MS Word that can be accessed from any browser that is also accessible on the chromebook, but other than that, there is no way to run MS Word "natively".

• No, but you can use Word Online. You can also use Google Docs offline if you don't have Internet, and it syncs when you reconnect. It can then be saved as a .docx document.
