• This absolutely doesn't work with the ps4. You need an SATA hard drive this is an ATA hard drive. It's not compatible at all.

• I tested it on a PS3 and worked perfectly fine, I guess it would do the same on a PS4

• Yes! Just installed it now in my PS4 and its running with no issues so far. Downloading my games, back up data and streaming on Netflix and no noise or overheating issues.

• I'm pretty sure the PS4 doesn't support external storage. You can install a larger internal drive though.
