• A:Answer Yes, I put one in my daughter's 15" 2009 Macbook Pro. Here is what I did. 1. I got a Apricorn USB/SATA transfer cable kit from Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.com/site/apricorn-ez-upgrade-3-0-serial-ata-hard-drive-upgrade-kit/4351399.p?id=1218475466447&skuId=4351399 2. Attach the hard drive to the SATA connector and the USB port on your Macbook and use Mac's Disk Utility (found in Applications/Utlilities) to format the drive with Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format 3. Use a program like Carbon Copy Cloner to back up your current drive to the new drive. It will copy all the boot files too. 4. Install the drive in the Mac. You can find great tutorials on YouTube on how to remove and replace your drive. 5. Restart your Mac and it will find your new Toshiba drive and boot seamlessly. Carbon Copy may ask you to install a Recovery Disk. If so, say OK.

Q: QuestionCan this be installed in a desktop computer (with/an adapter)?Like the high ratings, and fact that it is made in Japan. Can it be installed in a desktop computer, as a 2nd drive, with an adapter, and if yes are there any special issues to watch out for? Thanks.

• A:Answer yes....no problems either use a 2.5 adapter sleeve. just make sure cables did not get tangled, and ensure your desktop has a free power connector. do not reformat upon install.

Q: QuestionWill this work with a PS3?I have looked up the Hard Drive on Toshiba's website and the dimensions match the drive size of a PS3 hard drive. I will buy one and update this question later with an answer.

• A:Answer This will fit any computer or laptop with a standard 2.5 inch SATA 1, 2, or 3 slot. This drive is 7mm tall, and comes with a spacer so it can fit snugly into a 9mm slot. FYI, 2.5 inch form factor is measured by the diameter of the disks in a standard HDD, not by the actual size of the drive itself, so don't bother with a ruler and tape measure. There are plenty of informative youtube videos that can help explain it better, but if you have a SATA slot, this drive will most likely fit unless you have a non-standard slot. I believe the c855-s5350 has a standard 9mm slot, based on a quick google search. So yes, this should fit.

• A:Answer Yes, all internal hard drives will work, but it is not necessarily recommended. Toshiba hard drives are designed to work with chipsets for Toshiba laptops.
