- Answer I'd say about 20". I have one speaker on the table with the playing unit and one on the floor in front of the table, sitting on a stack of about 10 cd cases. The table is 23" high

- Answer If your TV has a headphone jack (or 3.5mm audio output) then, yes, you can connect this to the front audio input jack to your tv for sound via a 3.5mm stereo patch cable (they are super inexpensive)
