• No, you cannot record movies or TV program with this TV. Try to use the Amazon Fire TV Recast.

• This TV Has a built in Fire stick (Fire/TV), you don't have to connect a external device to stream. However, it will not record anything. If you want to record anything you most connect some type device that recodes (ie. DVR, VCR old device or some type a recording device), the signal has to go through that device so it can record the show you want to see.
