“This TV was delivered to me yesterday at 1:30 IN THE MORNING. It sat on my porch in sub-zero temperatures all night. Luckily it was not stolen despite being out in the open in box clearly marked with it’s contents. Is there potential damage due to cold?”

While not entirely impossible it's extremely unlikely that cold temperatures did any PERMANENT damage to the screen. The screen uses an In_Plane Switching LCD Array which uses constantly adjusting voltage in order to change the colors of the pixels. Due to this design there may be a "burn in" period where the pixels may not display properly if they're TOO cold, but the worst-case scenario is that you could just leave it in the box until it reaches room temperature, and has stabilized for about an hour, then it should be fine. If you DO have any issues with the pixels being stuck, or "Dead" then it's likely a result of the negligent shipper, and definitely needs to be returned. Due to being IPS there is a slight bit of "backlight bleed" that's inherent with these display matrixes, but it's never anything that's so unsightly it dramatically affects picture quality. Just really dark areas that you can see the light through.
