“Since this tv has Composite outlets, can I connect my old DVD/VCR player with component outlets to it? Will an A/V input (red, white, and yellow) work with a VCR/DVD that has outlets for component cable (i.e, that are not red,white, and yellow)?”

Connect your DVD/VCR player to the AV input on this TV (red, white and yellow), for the video cables, connect only the green cable into the yellow jack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can purchase a HDMI cable and not use the Red, white and yellow cords. But you can use them on this TV if your DVD/VCR doesn't have the HDMI port.
