• You need internet access to stream movies and TV shows. If you do not have internet access, you can hook up an antenna (not included) to watch free over the air broadcasts from local channels.

• You can connect an antenna to it and view shows via a digital antenna "over the air" for free except price of antenna. Also, but much more money, would be a cable or satellite service.
