If you are connecting a Cable Box, try to use the cable box remote to change channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Is your TV's HDMI input cable coming from a cable box? If so, use your cable remote to control the TV. You may have to program the remote with a code for your TV brand, i.e. Toshiba. Directions for doing this should be in your remote's manual, or you could probably find them online. I was able to do this with an old universal remote from a long-gone TV of a different manufacturer. It's convenient and works quite well.
