• Yes, you can connect your DVD player to the AV (red, white and yellow) input.

• Did not need any other adapter for my DVD player. Plugged it in to the TV and movies available.

• It has two HDMI ports. I think it has 4 colored ports too. The tv doesn’t come with any extra cables for these.
