ATSC 3.0 (NextGen TV) is a broadcast television standard that allows for more efficient transmission of content, improved picture and sound quality. While the ATSC 3.0 standard itself doesn't mandate encryption, broadcasters have the option to encrypt their streams if they choose to do so. This TV supports ATSC 1.0.
