“On the back of the TV it has a Best Buy sticker in place of the manufacturers sticker. I tried to register on the Toshiba web site, however it does not recognize the serial number. Does some one know why, and has anyone else had this problem?”

This TV was made especially for Best Buy. Obviously Best Buy contracted for tens of thousands of these to be manufactured by the maker of Toshiba but since it is such an outstanding value at such a good price Best Buy and not Toshiba takes care of warranty claims. Trust me for the price this TV is an outstanding value. I am not saying it can compete with an LG OLED but it doesn't cost 2000 dollars like the LG either.
