• There are at least two Toshiba remote controls with full numeric keypads that will work with this TV, CT-90275 and CT-90302. They have some extra buttons that aren't needed with the TV and they are somewhat universal remotes in that you can control other devices in addition to the TV.

• That's correct. Very annoying if you use an antenna. Not so much for cable users who use the cable remote.

• With our Toshiba there is a an app you can download for the phone that turns the phone into a remote. This can be handy if you have lost the original remote for a while.
