“My parents have a Comcast cable box and it is hooked through HDMI1; the fire tv is running through the house wifi. Is there a way to keep the cable hooked up but unhook the fire tv from the home wifi?”

• Your TV is hooked up just like mine. I don’t understand why you’re wanting to disconnect the WiFi, just don’t use it. There might br something in the setting screen that might help. I’ve also found a lot of good information on ytube.
