No firestick needed. I had one but do not need it since this comes preloaded. Another nice feature is that the remote lets you tell Alexa to open Netflix. And it does without any problems. I also have the echo in my bedroom and I can ask Alexa to open Netflix or my Prime video and shell will do it.
