“how do i hook it up to cable,,,my cable box has cable out to tv and 3 plugs in's white, yellow, red,,, but it has 3 additinal plugs blue, green, read new tv does not plug ins for those 3 cables, will it work without it”

The red, green, and blue are called composite video. It was big for a couple years, 15 years ago. That's not important. The red, white and yellow are your RCA cables; red and white for audio, yellow for video. Either that 1 or a coax cable would be fine. There should also be an HDMI option. That's the one I would use. It gives you the best audio and visual experience, if that's what you're looking for.
