A VCR and DVD player will hook up to this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has three (3) HDMI inputs, and one composite input. Newer equipment supports, and have, HDMI outputs, while an old VCR would most likely have the composite output (color coded yellow video, red and white audio plugs on the cable). You most likely will not want to watch a VCR tape on this television, as it will show the low resolution of the media - meaning it will create a lot of artifacts (garbage) in the picture. Also, you may want to consider a new DVD/Blu-Ray disk player, that supports the 4K Ultra picture, and the disks that support the higher standard as well. Remember the saying, garbage in garbage out. You may be able to make some things look not as bad as it could be, yet you really need to match the devices. Do not stick a VW Rabbit engine into a five ton truck - it just wasn't designed for it, and the failure may make you laugh and/or cry. You really need a 4K Ultra Blu-ray player to go with the 4K Ultra TV.
