• If you're using a replacement remote, you likely have the version which does not work with Fire Edition TVs. (It doesn't say so on the box, unfortunately.) If you're trying to pair with the remote that came with the TV, try unplugging the TV for a few seconds and removing the batteries from the remote. Then, plug the TV back in and put the batteries in the remote. That should be enough to make it pair, but if necessary holding the home button may help.
