“How do you turn the tv speakers on or off when headphones are plugged in? With the tv mounted on the wall the headphone jack is very difficult to reach - I want to leave phones in but still use speakers now and then.”

• This model does not have the ability to turn the speakers on and off with headphones plugged in. You could use a Bluetooth adaptor and use wireless headphones.

• Go to display and sounds click audio output click tv speakers and set to off.

• The Fire TV Edition television speakers will automatically turn off when an audio device is connected. Try to use wireless Bluetooth headphones. David M. - Toshiba Support

• I actually bought an inexpensive pair of wireless headphones. So much easier to use and no need to keep bothering with the TV.
