“I just got the 50" fire tv and everything is great except for the sound. I have a samsung soundbar and when i use both the soundbar and the tv speakers together I get an echo sound. I didn't have this issue with my previous tv. Any ideas?”

I have an LG soundboard but I'm afraid I have the same problem if I don't turn off the TV speakers due to the latency. I also noticed that when I turn off the TV it does not turn off the optical right away so my speakers don't turn off for quite a bit. Additionally, my soundbar doesn't get loud with sound from this TV but if I connect my phone through Bluetooth and play music it gets really loud. I also tested it on a different TV so I know the TV has some kind of weak amplifier for sound. The Bluetooth sync feature on this TV also falls below expectations as there is quite a bit of lag and the audio never perfectly syncs. The Bluetooth also does not automatically turn on my soundbar for some reason. Lastly, i can control the volume with Bluetooth but not with the optical connection. I have the Toshiba 50 from last year with chrome built in and it works better than this TV as far as the sound goes!
