Apple TV works great with this tv! I actually have the newest generation of Apple TV plugged into this tv and it recognized the tv was 4K and supported HDR and asked if I wanted to turn HDR on for the Apple TV. I did and it looks great! As far as weight I am not sure but I carried the tv up two flight of stairs by myself and set it up and put it on the tv stand by myself. Hope this helps.
