What is the picture quality compared to 1080p? null

It is awesome if signal in is a 4k signal. With a regular 1080 signal the tv upconverts to 4k and picture can suffer if there are many flaws but for the most part looks as good as your current had tv. 4k or 2160 has twice as many pixels which means they are smaller and can give you more pixels to make a curve or corner of a box be more precise and allows superior color blending. Over all sharper and softer than 1080.
