• This TV has speakers already built-in. You can connect a soundbar if you want to.

• Depends on what you watch. I have a nice LG soundbar because we enjoy watching movies, concerts, etc. I think This particular tv has decent sound without one if you are watching regular tv shows, news. I haven't seen any with "built in" sound bars but most sound bars may also hung on wall if that is what you are planning on doing with the tv.
