My HP laptop HD crashed, will this HD be compatible? null

Are you trying to swap the hard drive from within this drive to your laptop? It might be. I'd check the dimensions (specifically the thickness) of this drive against the one you have in your HP laptop.

If you HP has a SATA hard drive, then yes.. You did not list the model number, so I can't double check.. But you can type in the hp model number into Google and do a search. The System specs will say something like " Hard Drive SATA 5400rpm 250gb"

Without the model number of your HP I can't say for certain. If your laptop uses a Serial ATA (SATA) drive, this should work for you
