“Will this replace Toshiba's MK5065GSX HD on a Sony VPCS111FM laptop? My MK5065GSX HD crashed on my Sony laptop (VPCS111FM). I had tried a Seagate 7200RPM 500GBSATA HD with 16MB Cache but I could not load Windows 7 from my recovery disks. I spoke with Sony and they recommended a 512 Sector drive. Is this drive a 512 sector drive and will this be compatible with my Sony Laptop? Thank you. B. Perez”

• No it will not be compatible whit your sony vaio you need to buy an interna hardrive whit SERIAL ATA-150 on it check best buy page and insert ATA-150 check dimension I think is a 3.5
