“Low hum upon turning on TV? The TB has a low "hum" when it comes on, you cannot really hear it when watching TV with the volume up, but it is really noticeable and annoying at start up. Is it a defect or does it go away over time, i.e. burn in time????”

I have no issues with a hum or any sound. My TV works great. I would take it back and get one without a hum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe this is related to the transformer... or something like that. I exchanged my first tv that had it and the noise doesnt happen in my new one. You can fix it by having your brightness at 100% on the model with the humming.
