A:Answer Display devices are typically 4:4:4, however, even Blu-ray is only 4:2:0, so the Chroma sampling does not matter as much as some manufacturers want to claim. The storage space and cable bandwidth just keep pace mostly with pixel count and frame rate. I realize HDMI can handle 4:4:4 at certain timings and pixel counts, but for most things (pretty much anything non-medical) it is not as relevant which is why they don't publish this data for display devices.
