“Does this TV "Upscale" for 1080p broadcasts so as to use the full screen?”

• Yes. It will auto size to fill the screen. For example, Fox uses 720p and the picture looks great even on default settings. (It fills the whole screen) Other broadcasts that are in 1080 appear just as clear and use the full screen. I'm sure there are settings somewhere where you can "exact scan" or no scaling.
