“I have a 55L711U18 TV (55" Toshiba 4k) and I cannot get the optical audio output to work. I connect my sound bar to my direct tv box with the same optical cable and it works but not on the tv.”

• The digital audio is only output, connect DIRECTTV- via HDMI------->Toshiba TV-VIa optical cabe----->sound bar, go to option-audio on the TV and change the output.Is an option there i don't remember were but is there.
