I have used it with my Samsung phone and tablet using SmartView, even though my TV is connected to my router by an ethernet cable, and it works quite well. You can access the screen mirror function quite easily by pushing the settings button on the remote and choosing Display Mirror or through a deep dive into the display settings in the settings menu.
