“I'm trying to connect my Sonos Beam soundbar. I can do it with optical connection but I want to use HDMI-ARC. But port 1, labeled "ARC," specifies "IN," not out, and doesn't work with the soundbar. Is it not possible to make this connection with HDMI-ARC?”

• Try this: - Connect to HDMI1 (ARC). - Go Home > Settings > Display and Sounds > HDMI CEC Device Control and turn ON. - Go Home > Settings > Display and Sounds > Audio Output > Turn TV Speakers OFF and Select Digital Audio Format Auto. The other Audio Output is 3.5 mm (Headphone Jack). David M. - Toshiba Support
