Absolutely, but you have to buy the parts to hang on the wall, before you can hang the tv on it.

Yes. We mounted it flat on our bedroom wall using a Sanus wall mount. It was very easy following the instructions included with the mount. Just be sure to find the stud(s) in the wall before you start drilling holes for the screws. Only took us about 20 mins to complete.
