I bought a $5 universal remote so I could enter the channels. Works fine. There's also an app to use your phone as a remote.

I have found that the remote app does have the option to enter channel numbers. It is the 123 symbol in the bottom left corner on the main screen. I hope that helps! *you may also be able to buy a universal remote that you can program to the tv.
