The Geek Squad told me today Saturday September 28th 2024 when I called in for repairs on my Toshiba TV. The Geeks God told me that Toshiba makes their own TVs and they also make Hisense tvs also. I was told that my Toshiba TV is non-repairable and since I had the extended warranty that I was going to be receiving a brand new TV. So I would recommend buying the 5-year service warranty if you buy a Toshiba TV cuz my original Toshiba TV only lasted a little over two and a half years.
