“Sometimes the TV doesn't turn on with the remote. I have to unplug and replug it at the back of the TV, then it will turn on with the remote.... Also, when I pause a show it shuts itself off after 5 minutes. Very annoying...”

• The TV needs to be reset to factory defaults once unboxed and before 1st use. Do that and go thru the setup process again and you should be good to go.

• Hi James, Remove the batteries and clean the remote control terminals with a small solution of alcohol, using a cotton bud or soft cloth, then place the batteries back into the remote control. Replace with fresh batteries. Notes: Insert a battery consistent with the + pole and - pole according to the indication, and make sure sleep mode is Off.
