Q: QuestionCan this be used with MacBookPro laptop with Time Machine to back up all on my Mac? Do I need special USB connector? Do you have suggestions in terms of how I can back up what I have? ONLY I use the computer, no essential transactions, back up to iCloud

• A:Answer Yes, you can use it to back up your Mac. I set this up for my wife's macbook pro, which is about 5 years old now. Her drive plugs in via a usb cable; no special cable required. Time Machine saves back-ups to this drive. I am considering buying another for my macbook pro.
