I found the sound quality to be very bad. It is not very loud. To hear sound from my kitchen to the family room, I had to turn the player in my direction. If it faced the kitchen, I could barely hear the sound. I am very sorry I bought this boom box.

It is loud enough to hear it from end of the horse arena to the other with good quality sound.
