• That is a good question. If u r using your camcorder as a DVR and the manufacture says it can be done, then yes. Using the proper cables and if there is an "In" jack on your camcorder then it can be done. Best bet is to check your camcorder's manufacture site for specifications.

• no you have to plug it into the your dvd player . my husband plug it into the front of the box and burn all of our home movies

• No, Your TV won't record anything. You have to plug it into your VCR.
