Typically, I have a problem on my current laptop with accidentally brushing the touchpad while trying to type documents, thus causing the cursor to skip around. Is there a way to toggle the touchpad on and off while using the Satellite Radius as a laptop word processor? If so, is it a hot key that can be pressed quickly as I go back and forth between tasks, or something I need to navigate through the settings menus to find each time? Will I still be able to navigate via the touchscreen, while using the keyboard with the touchpad disabled (so, not switching to tablet mode entirely, just disabling the touchpad only)?”

From here click on Device Settings and you will be able to adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad. You can also enable PalmCheck which will automatically disable the touchpad when typing on the keyboard.
