I needed a new laptop, but also wanted a tablet, but couldn't afford both, so I got this slim little 2-in-1 laptop and so far it's been good. The only thing I can't figure out is that sometimes when switching between the tablet mode and laptop mode there seems to be some glitches...not sure if there are settings I need to change or what, but it will sometimes stop functioning in some capacity for a moment, or have random trouble finding wireless connections after being in tablet mode.

Great small Notebook for Traveling

Had a Toshiba previously which lasted many years so was interested in this small laptop. I wanted it for travel. Like the chrome-gray finish. The product has a great keyboard. Very responsive and sturdy. Trackpad works well. Touch screen is easy and readable and clear. I installed classic start shell easily and now don't have to deal with metro screen. Once that was done it was a fast system and I like it as much as old windows 7. It does not have a VGA port, but I bought an HDMI to VGA converter in order to hook to my old projector for showing presentations. Works excellent. It has one 3.0 USB and one 2.0 USB. Wish I had another one, but can add a hub. For the price, very pleased. It's excellent for travel with a good keyboard and a full operating system unlike apps on android or tablets which limit capabilities when traveling.

Great little laptop. I swapped out the Hard Drive with a SSD and its really snappy now. Great battery life and light! I use this as a second laptop to my Mac Book Pro....i'm used to mac and this is my first PC in many years. The screen is not great...but i'm used to the Retina from my mac.

Computer for daughter

My daughter was looking for a 2-in-1 computer and I purchased this because it was reasonably priced. So far, no complaints from her. The only thing it did not have is a DVD drive...but that makes it extremely light. Also came with 1 year of Office 365 (my computer only came with 1 month). I almost wanted to buy one for myself.

I bought this computer for college and I've been very disappointed with it. First off it stated running slow for no reason. I've tried removing some programs but it didn't make a difference. Now it randomly starts slowing down when I am using Microsoft word. It literally takes it about 3 seconds to type one letter. I have to close the program and reopen it to have it work correctly. The speakers are not very good but I don't mind that. I should have not waited so long to regret my purchase and I should have returned it when I had time. The only positive thing I can say is that it is light weight and very sleek.

I have not tried this product in tablet mode yet, only in computer mode. I think it is a very nice little computer. The keyboard takes a little getting used to, as the keys lie so flat against the surface of the computer. But all is well once one gets used to typing on that. However, I had to tape over the touch pad as my thumb would accidentally brush against it, and cause the curser to move and thus, throw off my typing. It is light and easy to carry and of a size I like. I would recommend it to a friend, as long as they knew about the touch pad.

I need a replacement as my old one suddenly broke down. I found this one at BestBuy which meets all requirements and is ready to pickup. It is light and runs smoothly. Just hope the battery could last a bit longer.

The laptop is worth the money paid for it. I'm not paying a lot for a performance laptop so I don't expect it to be a gaming performance speed. The 1 thing I didn't like is that Best Buy geek squad sent me emails all the time to download their antivirus software, of course it was trial so then I would be paying monthly after the small trial period.

Bought this to replace 2 year old dell xps (do not recommend dell). Trust Toshiba products. This was a good deal. Computer was easy to setup. Had to remove some pre installed software but not too much. Toshiba showing this is upgradeable to Windows 10 although the reserved software has not become available yet. Happy customer here

This is a nice sleek computer containing a touchscreen and the ability to flip 360 degrees. However, the one bad side is that it is a bit slow.

I went to Best Buy to get a Surface 3 tablet, but bought the Toshiba instead. At about half the cost, it has 2 USB ports, so I can multitask.
I only use this computer for low-tech games and listening to music on long airplane trips and vacations. So far, it does everything I want it to. I was not told this at the store, but it comes with Office 365 included.

Thank you for the review, Helen.
We do make Satellite Radius models with Intel Core processors, up to the i7, which would be happy to fly through Photoshop. But those are a step up in cost as well as size and weight (due to their 15" displays.)
Model selection is all about tradeoffs to find the right mix of features for your preferences, so you may want to check out the rest of our Satellite Radius product line to see which is the best match for you. It might be this one after all, since you seem to like its size and weight.
Thanks again for the feedback.

I needed a computer small enough to fit in my backpack. It's a little bit heavy. But it works really well with google docs and I love playing games on it.
