• Best Buy will set everything up along with a Phone Number. And everything is Free Of Charge ! No worries.

• The phone must be activated first either at the store, on the computer or call Verizon and they can do it.

• You could call customer service and keep your old number or they can give you a new one.

• First you will need a simm card. And considering it's sold by Verizon I would imagine it already has one. Given that, if you have access to the Internet you could activate it that way. If not, yes you will need to go to a Verizon store.
