If it fits in the box and connector there shouldn't be any issues. If your current card is at the gigabit level, this card probably won't make a difference. Go to www.speedtest.net to check your real upload/download speeds. If you can handle a command line window, PING and TRACERT will also give you an idea of what your internet connection is like. Too much to explain them here, go to Google or YouTube. You can use "Classic Shell" to make the Windows 10 GUI function like XP or Windows 7. With Classic Shell you get the functionality of the Win7 interface with the compatibility of Win10. It's only a matter of time before you start seeing "Windows 7 not supported" messages.
