“I have a provider Aris cable modem & 2 Enet wire to top floor b-rooms. Should I plug this into Aris for source, 2 Enet, and a Enet "jumper" to AC 1200 (WIFI), or should I go the other way? Aris to 1200, to 5-port, to hard wires? Best config or no matter?”

• Don’t go from WiFi to Ethernet. Always Ethernet first! That’s the rule here because Cat-5 has more bandwidth than any WiFi.

• Your modem should be connected to your router first, then the switch. Modem → Router → Switch.
