Hi! Yes, simply plug in the power cord, then connect one port on the switch, using an Ethernet cable, to a LAN port on your router. The remaining ports on the switch can then be used to connect your wired devices.

Managed means you are logging into the switch and making specific changes to each port or sets of ports. This small switch falls into the later group of being unmanaged so it is extremely easy, it is plug and play, no programming required. just make sure you have the appropriate amount/length of cat 5E patch cables (I recommend cat6 since its becoming the new standard) hope this helps.
