Can I connect an IP phone to this router? null

For me, yes! I use the OBiTalk adapter (now called Polycom) (60 bucks at Amazon [BB doesn't carry it]) that connects a regular landline phone to the router. From there the adapter connects me to Google Voice. That gives me a free landline using a regular phone! I don't know what your IP phone set-up is, but if my set-up works, yours should work as well.
